The Private Sector Liaison Officers Network is a biennial event with a clear mission: Integrating Sustainable Energy in Global Development.
With more than a billion of the world population without access to energy, it has become clear to all players involved in the world development that there is no possible economical growth without access to energy. Entities such the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Asian Development Bank dedicate billions of Dollars per year to facilitate the access to energy, creating projects, and jobs, worldwide.
In the 2017 – 2019 program, the focus is in the renewable sector. This mission seeks to strengthen its communications with the private sector and better engage companies worldwide in its mission to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity. More than a hundred energy professionals from 16 different countries met during a three-day program, and M&I Consulting was honored to be part of, representing our client GBN EC, a Spanish Engineering and Consulting firm with great expertise in renewable projects within the Solar and Wind industry.
