About Us
M&I Consulting is born as the result of our need to perform
project management and consultancy with a different approach.
We have over 45 years of combined experience on engineering, management, and consultancy in the infrastructure and industrial sectors.
We have succeeded in most of our projects and learned what to improve in others. The same way, we have learned how engineering and service provider companies can be re-organized in order to optimize the results.
It was our time to step out of large corporations and focus on our understanding of how things can be done differently under another rational methodology.

Pedro Pajares
Managing Partner
Pedro started his career in the shipbuilding world, where he worked for 14 years in engineering & design and project management. During that time, he gained experience in merchant and military construction, working in shipyards in Europe and USA.
Early 2010, Pedro entered the renewable energy sector in USA, being the Engineering Project Manager for the two biggest thermal solar power plants at the time for a Spanish company. Both plants are located in the southwest region of the US.
His work in the renewable market continued with other solar, biofuel and conventional generation projects in USA and Europe until the end of 2015. By then, the seed of M&I Consulting was created, giving birth to the company in early 2016.
Apart from the job, Pedro also volunteers with the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce of New York in their 2016 Mentoring Program as a mentor for talented young students and professionals.
Pedro enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two kids and his labrador.

Juan Lozano
Partner
Juan joined the engineering team of an international consulting group in Central Florida while he was still finishing college. Through hard work and dedication, moved up the ranks to project manager and eventually became the youngest Vice-President in the firm to date. During this time, he fine tuned his engineering and project management skills, actively involved in the design and coordination of Developments of Regional Impact, Highways, Residential, Commercial and Industrial Infrastructure development, in South America, the Caribbean, and North America.
Looking for new challenges, and intrigued by renewable resources, he became involved in the energy sector as the Deputy Director for the first 2nd generation bioethanol plant in the world, position he held until early 2016, when he saw a tangible need for a company that could help others bridge the gap between conception and reality, between barely reaching goals and clearly surpassing them, and together with Pedro created M&I Consulting.
Apart from helping others reach their full potential, Juan enjoys spending time with his wife and two incredible children, reading a good book, and dancing.
